STILLEN is thrilled to offer the only true cold air intake for the 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra 3.4 liter. After nearly 2 years of development and testing, STILLEN has engineered a cold-air intake that enhances engine airflow and significantly lowers air intake temperatures.
The Trupower by STILLEN cold air intake includes two replacement intake scoops and intake ducts, channeling truly fresh cold air from the front of the vehicle through the truck’s core support into a larger airbox. This design maximizes the factory air intake opening as well as our secondary air source, providing nearly 50% more airflow through the true cold air intake port.
During testing, the STILLEN product development team observed that intake air temperatures dropped faster than with the factory air intake. Competing intakes not only ran hotter than the factory intake but also failed to reach ambient temperatures. When comparing our TruPower intake to the factory air intake at a cruising speed on the highway (65-70 mph), we saw ambient air temperature within a 1/4 mile (20 seconds), whereas the factory intake took nearly 12 times as long, 3 miles and about 3 minutes, and it was still 3-5 degrees warmer than ambient. After 10 minutes of consistent cruising, we still never saw the factory intake reach ambient temperature. It was only when we stepped on it, gave it a hard acceleration, that we saw the OEM intake achieve an actual ambient air temperature. As soon as we let off the gas, the temperature in the intakes already started to climb back to 3-5 degrees above ambient. This testing proves that the TruPower cold air intake is the best intake on the market for a Toyota Tundra. In our opinion, this should be one of the first modifications for a Tundra if you own one.
