Description
igh-powered modified 4U-GSE and FA20A engines tend to generate excessive blow-by oil and gasses. In these cases, an ordinary small catch can may quickly fill with oil and not be adequate. the AOS (Air Oil Separator) kit is responsible for keeping blow-by oil and other pollutants out of the intake pipe, manifold, turbocharger, and intercooler during all engine loads. The main difference is that an AOS system returns what is collected back into the oil pan (as shown below) so there is no servicing required. The built-in heater keeps water from condensing in the AOS. And because water is more dense than oil, there is an integrated water trap found around the bottom perimeter of the can.
Radium Engineering Air Oil Separator – Premium Crankcase Ventilation Upgrade
Radium Engineering Air Oil Separators provide a high-performance solution for controlling oil vapor and blow-by in turbo, supercharged, and high-RPM engines. Designed with multi-stage internal baffling, an integrated condenser, and a closed-loop design, Radium’s AOS systems remove oil mist from the PCV stream and return separated oil back to the engine—reducing carbon buildup, preventing detonation, and improving long-term engine reliability.
Built from CNC-machined, anodized aluminum, each Radium AOS is engineered for durability in extreme heat and pressure environments. These systems maintain proper PCV function while keeping the intake tract clean, making them ideal for street, track, and endurance applications. Unlike basic catch cans, Radium’s maintenance-friendly design requires no emptying, ensuring consistent performance with minimal upkeep.
Whether you’re running a tuned daily driver or a high-boost track car, Radium’s Air Oil Separator delivers cleaner combustion, more stable crankcase pressure, and improved engine efficiency—all backed by proven motorsport engineering.
